Mitsubishi Electric India Pvt. Ltd has established Authorized Training Center at the Department of EIE, CVRCE which is one among 4 Authorized Training Centers across INDIA, where training needs of local industries can be catered along with student skill development.
They have also sponsored Mitsubishi Robotic established worth around Rs. 35 Lakhs. It serves as a great opportunity for students to learn the basics of Advanced Robotics Supervisory control programming & methodologies with this Robotic Setup.

The objective of this lab is to educate and train the students to design and develop an innovative product for industry requirements. The lab is fully funded and equipped with MITSUBISHI Electric India Pvt. Ltd. with various field devices, modular and compact PLCs accompanied by HMI with advanced features.
The prime objective is to motivate students to implement their ideas under the supervision of subject expert which meets the needs of the industry as well curriculum. This lab is facilitating the necessary hardware and software requirements to support their work. With the dedicated teamwork of our young minds the department has been received different rank of medals and prizes at national level since last three years. By using the different sources available with this lab, an innovative working model is selected in NEWGEN-IEDC and funded by DST, Govt. of India.
The aim of establishing research lab is to pursue higher research enabling them to publish research-based articles and got research degree. The Research lab is facilitating various research activities in the department and forecast effective outcomes in terms of publications in repute journals and conferences. This unit also enhances the practical exposures of faculty members with various experimental investigation. The Faculty get exposed to the latest trends of technology by utilizing the various sources available with the said lab. Faculty members carry out their research in selective domain and publish articles accordingly. Prof. S. Harivardhagini achieved her PhD degree by availing the facility with the research lab. Apart from these, four more faculty members of the department also uses the same for their research work.
The Computer Center of the department is well equipped with 30 personal computer systems along with research-oriented software. This is available both for students and faculty to develop and improve their technical knowledge. The center has well ventilated Rooms with uninterrupted power supply are available round the clock. Department received grant of Rupees 16,30,000 in 2018-19 from AICTE for Modernization of PC based Advanced Process Control Laboratory and its infrastructure development.
